Giving up trying to fight the spam by any manual means, is what I meant...I'm waiting for people to fix a problem on the server before I can install MT-Blacklist...have you had any success with it?
Posted by: undercurrent at November 5, 2004 12:16 PMno, I’ve actually surrendered ... when I try to delete spam comments something unhuman drives them to wreak a spam-blitzkrieg on this blog ;) now, we receive more than 70 spams in a day. Besides, I’ve a limited time to access the net, removing spams completely consumes my daily account.
Abe is busy atm but he is going to find a solution (using all the anti-spam solutions perhaps) for the blogs he hosts.
I tried a test comment on my latest post, and it seemed to work fine. You might try clearing your cookies and cache; I don't know, that seemed to help me when I couldn't comment here a while ago.
The other thing to keep in mind is that my blog is a blogger blog, and blogger's service is intermittent due to all the use. The recent election probably spiked blogging activity.
I've been very busy, though, and am only now considering creeping back into form.
